This is a very very good Chardonnay.  It spent some time in the #1 spot at the top of my list of favorite chardonnays over the past year.  We've drank many a bottle and loved every sip.  A fruit forward crispness that is balanced with aging 8 months sur lies 20% New French oak.

This creates a very light oakiness that is not overwhelming in the slightest.  The hint of spice is more than my palate's ideal, but the crispness and creaminess balances extraordinarily well.  All in all we both highly recommend this chardonnay.

Tasting the FAY and SLV Cab's while overlooking those same vineyards.

Food Pairings we've tried:

• Pasta :  ....of course.
• Fish : Absolutely.
• Fried Pickles : You know it!
• Humboldt Fog : Excellent with any Chardonnay.
• Fried Green Tomatoes : Surprisingly not complimentary.
• French Fries : Avoid.
• BBQ : We're divided on this one.  I say No, Shawn says Yes.

At the end of the day, we both recommend trying this amazing Chardonnay.  Buy yourself a bottle or two today (before it's all gone).  This is a truly delicious Chardonnay that is just as good by itself on a warm summer afternoon as it is with a perfect food pairing over dinner on a chilly Winter's evening at home.
